JetBlue is adding three daily nonstop routes on November 2, 2026, giving travelers direct flights from Columbus and Indianapolis to Fort Lauderdale and from Baltimore to San Juan, Puerto Rico. The launches add two Midwest connections to the airline’s South Florida network and another link to its San Juan operation.

Each route is scheduled for one round trip per day, according to JetBlue’s published route schedule. The announcement establishes the planned start date, although it does not confirm that every inaugural flight operated on time.

JetBlue’s three new routes and daily frequencies

  • Fort Lauderdale (FLL)-Columbus, Ohio (CMH): one daily nonstop round trip beginning November 2.
  • Fort Lauderdale (FLL)-Indianapolis (IND): one daily nonstop round trip beginning November 2.
  • Baltimore (BWI)-San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU): one daily nonstop round trip beginning November 2.

For passengers in Columbus and Indianapolis, the new flights provide a direct JetBlue option to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. That can eliminate a connection when booking those city pairs with JetBlue. Meanwhile, the Baltimore service adds a nonstop option to Puerto Rico’s main international airport without routing through South Florida.

Daily frequency makes the routes available across the week rather than only on selected days. However, departure times, return-flight options and total travel costs still depend on the itinerary and fare purchased.

Why Fort Lauderdale matters to JetBlue’s expansion

The two Midwest routes form part of a much larger expansion at Fort Lauderdale. In its network announcement, JetBlue outlined service to 11 additional destinations from the airport and more flights on existing routes.

The airline said it expected nearly 130 daily departures from Fort Lauderdale during its summer expansion, more than 75% above its 2025 level. That figure describes the wider network plan, not the number of flights added on November 2.

JetBlue positioned the expansion as a response to changes in the South Florida market following Spirit Airlines’ shutdown. Its schedule also added service linking Fort Lauderdale with cities including Baltimore, Charlotte, Detroit and Houston earlier in the year.

Still, the three November routes serve different markets. Columbus and Indianapolis feed the Fort Lauderdale operation, while Baltimore-San Juan strengthens JetBlue’s Puerto Rico network directly.

What passengers should check before booking

JetBlue lists flights and current fares on jetblue.com. Travelers should compare the exact flight times, fare restrictions, baggage rules and any seat-selection charges before paying. JetBlue did not promise a fixed fare for these three routes in its network announcement.

The airline also advertises onboard Wi-Fi, seatback entertainment and complimentary snacks and drinks, with connectivity availability varying by aircraft and coverage area. The immediate change is straightforward: three additional nonstop city pairs appear in JetBlue’s published daily schedule. Flight status and any later schedule changes remain subject to the airline’s operating information.
