SkyAlps plans to connect Paris Charles de Gaulle with Bolzano from December 10, 2026. Twice-weekly nonstop flights, on Thursdays and Sundays, will offer a new gateway to South Tyrol and the Dolomites.

The proposed route between Paris CDG and Bolzano is expected to be operated by a Dash 8-400, with flight time of roughly one hour and 40 minutes. The timetable remains subject to airline confirmation, and passengers should not rely on preliminary listings when planning tight connections.

What does this mean for Dolomites visitors?

Bolzano is a regional airport serving South Tyrol. Its proximity to mountain valleys is useful but does not mean every resort is nearby. Val Gardena, Alpe di Siusi and Cortina d’Ampezzo require different journeys by road or public transport. The quoted flight time does not include ground travel.

SkyAlps operates short regional routes with the De Havilland Dash 8-400. The Paris service is aimed at winter travellers who can organise their trip around two flights a week. For other travellers, flying via Verona, Venice or Innsbruck may remain worth comparing depending on the final destination.

For travellers, the value of a nonstop flight depends on the onward journey from Bolzano as much as the flight itself. Mountain roads can make transfer times longer than distances suggest, particularly in winter. With only two proposed weekly services, passengers also need to check operating days and onward transport before making plans.

Prospective passengers should confirm dates, ticket conditions and baggage allowances on SkyAlps’ official website. The planned route also appears on FlightsFrom. Booked flight information is more reliable than early timetable projections.

Travellers should factor onward travel from Bolzano into their overall journey time, particularly during winter road conditions.
