Aeroméxico will significantly strengthen its France-Mexico network in spring 2027. The Mexican carrier plans to launch a nonstop route between Guadalajara and Paris Charles de Gaulle on April 13, operating three flights a week.
The route will give Guadalajara a direct link to the French capital and complement Aeroméxico’s existing daily Guadalajara–Madrid service. It also reflects a broader strategy of developing long-haul flying from major Mexican cities without routing every passenger through Mexico City.
Three weekly flights to Paris
Departures from Guadalajara are scheduled for Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays from April 13, 2027. Aeroméxico plans to operate the route with Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
With Guadalajara added, Paris will be served nonstop from three Mexican cities in Aeroméxico’s network: Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara. The airline expects to offer up to 13 weekly flights to Paris during the 2027 summer season.
A broader European push
The Guadalajara route is part of a larger European expansion. Aeroméxico also plans to launch Mexico City–Milan from March 28, 2027, with four weekly frequencies.
The airline is expected to exceed 75 weekly departures to Europe in each direction during summer 2027, spread across seven destinations and 11 routes.
Guadalajara’s growing role
Guadalajara is Aeroméxico’s second major gateway outside Mexico City and already has a daily Madrid service. Paris adds a second nonstop European axis and strengthens Guadalajara’s position in the airline’s international network.
Dreamliner at the centre of long-haul growth
Aeroméxico uses Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft on long-haul services. The 787-9 can seat up to 274 passengers in the airline’s published configuration. Grupo Aeroméxico reported 165 passenger aircraft at the end of 2025 and expects additional Dreamliners during 2026 and 2027.
For Paris-CDG, the Guadalajara service will further diversify direct Mexico traffic beyond the federal capital and tap one of Mexico’s largest economic regions.
