Air France extends Dubai flight suspension to October 24

Air France has extended the suspension of its Paris-Charles de Gaulle–Dubai service through October 24, 2026. The previous cut-off was October 13, adding eleven days of disruption for passengers as international airlines continue to take different approaches to Gulf operations.

What we know

Updated information on September 30 shows Air France flights to and from Dubai remaining suspended through October 24. Only days earlier, the carrier’s published position was that Dubai services would stay paused through October 13.

Dubai International Airport remains open and UAE-based airlines continue to operate substantial schedules. Air France’s decision is therefore an airline-specific operational measure rather than an airport closure.

Why it matters

The Paris–Dubai route serves point-to-point traffic between France and the UAE as well as connecting travellers. Moving the suspension date from October 13 to October 24 extends the disruption into the final days of the summer timetable and close to the seasonal schedule change.

Air France is part of a wider but uneven pattern. KLM and Singapore Airlines have also published Dubai suspensions through October 24, while several other international carriers are working to different return dates. The result is a patchwork of availability rather than a single region-wide reopening timetable.

What passengers should do

Travellers booked on affected Air France itineraries should check the status of their individual booking and follow direct instructions from the airline. A flight appearing in a timetable or booking search should not by itself be treated as confirmation that it will operate. Rebooking and refund options depend on the affected itinerary and the carrier’s handling of the cancellation.

What to watch next

October 24 is the current suspension end date, not a guarantee that service will restart immediately afterward. Further changes remain possible as airlines review security and operational conditions across the region.
